Spouse, family, or friend of a cop?

If you are the spouse, family, or friend of a cop and you had the opportunity to sit down and say one thing to them and they would actually hear and receive what you have to say, what would it be? And why?

Please, no profanity and no negative comments. This is a solution-based blog post.

Police Suicide Awareness

Many people don't know that every 22 hrs., somewhere in the United States, a police officer commits suicide. These numbers are staggering. The stress associated with law enforcement, coupled with the stress of everyday life (relationships, children, money, health, etc.) tends to leave some of our men and women in blue in a state of hopelessness. What do you do when you spend 8 to 10 hours per day helping everyone else with their problems, and then you go home and struggle, silently, with your own? Join me on my blog talk radio show entitled "Shift Change Global Radio" at www.blogtalkradio.com/shiftchangeproject as I discuss this very pressing issue. The show airs on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 10:00 am eastern standard time. You can also click on the "talk show" link to your bottom right of this page. If you would like to call in during the show, the call in number is 646-716-9036. I look forward to hearing from you. Keep our police officers in your prayers and remember, "God is up to something in law enforcement!"
