I encourage all law enforcement to read Romans chapter 13 and ask God for understanding. This is the original blueprint for law enforcement. Just like anything else, the finished product should resemble it's blueprint. I spoke about Romans 13, just a little, in my last posted blog entitled, "What are your thoughts on this?" I have this verse laminated and in my business card holder so I have it with me everyday. Great Blog. I will listen to your radio show as soon as I can. It is reassuring that there are still men of faith in our field.
Thank you so much for a religious view on law enforcement. My husband has a wonderful relationship with Christ, but sometimes it is very hard for him to deal with such ugliness and remain spiritualy grounded.
Hi Rebecca. Thanks for your comment. Remind your husband that nothing happens without God's permission. Encourage him to pray before he leaves for work. We must be proactive. Don't wait for what the day dishes out. Put the day in it's place by declaring God's word. In Job 38, God asked Job, "Have you commanded the morning?" This simply means that you deal with tomorrow, tonight, in prayer. Stay close to God and be encouraged! God is up to something in law enforcement!!!
